Safety Saturday Moment

Keeping The Site Tidy

With how busy sites can get, it’s important that everyone knows and follows housekeeping rules to ensure everything stays organized and safe.

This week’s Safety Saturday shares some tips for keeping the site tidy.

Keeping a tidy work area can reduce many risks including fire hazards, and ensure everyone can complete their jobs as best as they can. Some important tasks to complete each day include designating an area for waste and ensuring it’s properly disposed of, safe storage of materials, keeping access routes clear, and putting away tools when they aren’t in use.

Though these tasks require some additional effort each day, the benefits that come with completing them are too crucial to the safety of everyone on-site to not complete.

Until next week, from all of us at the W. L. French Safety Department, stay safe out there.
